Varita Court Apartments opens Waiting List
The Wilson Housing Authority will open the waiting list for its Varita Court Apartments on April 28, 2025.
Varita Court is a 24-unit three story apartment building for low-income residents, aged 62 and older, at 205 Goldsboro Street E. in downtown Wilson.
The building has 18 one-bedroom units and 6 two-bedroom units, and there are currently openings for both bedroom sizes.
All the units are rent subsidized with the amount of that subsidy depending on the income of the applicant.
To apply for a unit, you can pick up an application from our administrative office at 301 Nash Street E, Monday-Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting on April 28. Completed applications can be dropped off at the same place.
A pdf of the application will also be available on the housing authority’s website, but currently there is not a way to apply online. If you cannot get to the housing authority offices to drop it off, a completed application can be scanned and emailed to the housing authority at jcrouell@wilsonha.org.
